I love pastels … pure pigment rolled into sticks and held together with a light gum binder.

You can layer and blend it, smear it and stroke it, draw with it, rub it ~ grind, sculpt, carve, graze, abrade, scuff and scrape ~ with pastels.

What’s not to love?
