I love pastels … pure pigment rolled into sticks and held together with a light gum binder.

I am fortunate to be part of the worldwide pastel renaissance. You can layer and blend it, smear it and stroke it, draw with it, rub it ~ grind, sculpt, carve, graze, abrade, scuff and scrape.

And I like doing all of the above!
